The Users column above is your plan’s seat limit — the number of people who can belong to your organization at once. A seat is consumed by each team member (Owner, Admin, or Member). Customers (end-users chatting with a customer-facing agent) and guests (read-only invited collaborators) do not consume seats.
Pending invitations count toward your seat limit until they’re accepted or withdrawn.
When you reach your seat limit, inviting another member is blocked until you either remove an existing member or upgrade to a plan with more seats.
Viewing your balance
Section titled “Viewing your balance”Settings → Credits shows:
- Current balance
- Monthly usage chart
- Per-agent credit breakdown
- Historical usage by month
Setting credit limits per agent
Section titled “Setting credit limits per agent”- Open an agent → Settings
- Set Monthly Credit Limit
- Save
When the limit is reached, the agent returns an error for new requests until the limit is raised or the billing cycle resets.
Purchasing additional credit packs
Section titled “Purchasing additional credit packs”- Go to Settings → Credits → Buy Credits
- Choose a credit pack → pay via Stripe
- Credits are added immediately
See Pricing → Credit packs for current pack sizes and prices.
Purchased credits never expire while your account is active; monthly included credits reset each billing cycle.
Which is used first: your monthly included credits, because those are the ones that expire. Purchased credits are only drawn on once the monthly allocation is exhausted, so a credit pack is never burned while you still have included credits to spend.
Changing your plan
Section titled “Changing your plan”Settings → Billing → Change Plan
- Upgrades take effect immediately
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”Settings → Billing → Cancel Plan
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep your plan and its credits for the time you have already paid for. Nothing is pro-rated or refunded, because nothing is taken away early.
When the period ends your organization moves to the Free plan. Your account, agents, and data remain accessible; the Free plan’s limits apply from then on. You can resubscribe at any time.
Changed your mind? Settings → Billing → Resume before the period ends and the cancellation is withdrawn — nothing is interrupted.
If a payment fails
Section titled “If a payment fails”Cards expire and get declined. When a renewal payment fails:
- We email the organization owner.
- Your account enters a 7-day grace period. Your plan keeps working and you can sign in normally — the point of the grace period is to give you time to fix the card.
- Update your card at Settings → Billing → Manage payment methods. Stripe retries automatically, and access continues uninterrupted once it succeeds.
- If the grace period ends without a successful payment, the organization moves to the Free plan. Your data is not deleted.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”Contact support@auteryn.ai.
- Credit packs — a refunded pack has its credits removed from your balance, including any you have already spent. Your balance can go negative, and new usage is blocked until it is settled.
- Subscriptions — refunding a payment does not change your plan. If you also want to stop the subscription, cancel it as well; the two are separate actions.
Enterprise billing
Section titled “Enterprise billing”Supports annual contracts, invoicing, purchase orders, and wire transfers. Contact sales@auteryn.ai.
