Three ways to connect a service

Auteryn offers three connection models, depending on how a service authenticates and who hosts the connector:

  • OAuth Integration — Auteryn-hosted, one-click OAuth with automatic token refresh (GitHub, Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, Notion).
  • Featured MCP — Auteryn-hosted MCP servers with a managed credential model (Sentry, Datadog, Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot, Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, and more).
  • Custom MCP — point Auteryn at an MCP server you host yourself.

Connection permissions

When you create a connection, you control exactly what the agent is allowed to do. Every integration has granular permission scopes:

  • GitHub: read repos, write issues — but not delete repos
  • Slack: send messages to specific channels — not DMs
  • Google Drive: only the files you pick — agents can’t browse the rest of your Drive
