Setup

Section titled “Setup”
  1. Go to Console → Integrations → Slack and connect your workspace
  2. Open an Internal agent → Channels tab
  3. Add a Slack channel binding (creates an event Flow for Slack messages)
  4. In Slack, invite the bot to the channel: /invite @YourBotName

How your team uses the bot

Mention it in a channel:

@DevAssistant can you review the PR I just pushed?

DM it directly:

Open a DM and type your message

Slack integration vs. Slack channel

Section titled “Slack integration vs. Slack channel”
  • Slack channel (Flow) — your agent responds to messages in a connected Slack workspace via an event Flow
  • Slack integration (on agent) — your agent can post messages to Slack as part of a workspace task

Both can be enabled on the same Internal agent.
