Close your organization

Only the organization’s owner can close it. Closing stops everything at once and gives you 30 days to change your mind.

  1. Go to Settings → Organization.
  2. Choose Close organization.
  3. Type the organization’s name to confirm.

Export data sits beside Close organization. Choose it first if you want a copy of your files, agents, conversations and billing history. A closed organization cannot export, so do this before you close. See Export your data.

  • Everyone is signed out.
  • Loops, Channels (Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack and email), the website chat widget and Knowledge syncs stop.
  • Connections are removed and their credentials are deleted. Google access is revoked at Google. For every other provider the grant stays at the provider until you remove it there.
  • API keys stop working.
  • Running computers (sandboxes) stop.
  • Public share links and published decks go offline.
  • The paid plan is cancelled at the end of the current billing period. You are not charged again, and the current period and any unused plan credits are not refunded. For credit packs, see Refunds.

For 30 days the owner can reopen the organization. Sign in and choose Reopen organization.

What comes back:

  • Loops and Knowledge syncs that don’t use a Connection run again.
  • A plan the close cancelled is resumed, if its billing period has not ended.

What does not:

  • Connections. Connect each one again. Channels (Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack and email) and the website chat widget are Connections, so they start again only after you connect them.
  • Public share links and published decks. They stay offline. Share or publish them again.
  • API keys. Issue new ones.
  • Sign-ins. Everyone signs in again.

Thirty days after you close it, the organization’s content is deleted:

  • Conversations and files
  • Library documents
  • Knowledge
  • Memory
  • Agents, Skills and Loops
  • Voices
  • Snapshots

People’s names, emails and sign-ins are deleted too. After this the organization cannot be reopened.

We keep invoices and the billing ledger, because tax law requires it. We also keep audit records. The billing ledger and the audit records have no name, email or IP address attached.

Invoices are different. Stripe, our payment processor, holds them, and they show the billing name and email. We keep the Stripe customer for tax records.

Deleted data does not vanish from every system on the same day:

Where How long a copy can remain
Database backups Up to 7 days
Deleted files in cloud storage Up to 7 days
Service logs Up to 90 days
Error reports Per our error-tracking provider’s retention

To skip the 30-day wait, send a formal erasure request to privacy@auteryn.ai or support@auteryn.ai. We then delete the organization’s data without waiting, and it cannot be reopened.
