Web Chat Widget
Web Chat Widget is the Integration behind the Website channel. Each of its Connections is one website, with its own key and settings. A customer-facing agent answers visitors there, with no account needed on their side. The Free plan does not include the website widget; it is on Pro and up.
Add a website
Section titled “Add a website”- In the Console, open Integrations, find Web Chat Widget and click Connect.
- Enter a name and the domains the chat may load on, then click Create website.
- On the website’s page, choose the customer-facing agent that answers, and copy the install snippet.
Only owners and admins can add or change a website. Choosing the agent adds the website to that agent’s Channels. To open a website’s page later, use Edit settings on its connection, or select it in the agent’s Channels list.
