Delete your account

Any person can delete their own account.

  1. Open the account menu (your name at the bottom of the sidebar) and choose Account settings.
  2. Choose Delete my account.
  3. Type your email address to confirm.

What happens next depends on your role.

You are a member or admin

Your account is deleted at once: your sign-in, name and email. The work you did in the organization stays with the organization.

You are the owner and the only person in the organization

Deleting your account closes the organization. It follows Close your organization, including what is deleted on day 30.

You can still sign in and reopen the organization within the 30 days. Export your data first, because a closed organization cannot export. See Export your data.

You are the owner and others are in the organization

Make someone else the owner first. In Settings → People, choose Make owner on their row. Then delete your account.
