Deploy to Telegram

Setup

Section titled “Setup”
  1. Open Telegram → search for @BotFather
  2. Send /newbot and follow the prompts to choose a name and username
  3. Copy the bot token BotFather gives you
  4. Go to Console → Integrations → Telegram and create a connection with the bot token
  5. Open your customer-facing agent, and in its Channels section click Add channel and choose the Telegram connection

Auteryn registers the webhook automatically when you save the connection.

Test it

Search for your bot’s username on Telegram, start a conversation, and send a message.

Replies and greetings

The Telegram connection stores only the bot token. What the bot says, including how it greets a new chat, comes from your agent’s instructions.
